TRAPIDE Co., Ltd. is excited to participate in the FY 2024 Cabinet Office's Africa International Exchange Project, fostering ties between Minakami Town and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This initiative marks a significant step in promoting cultural and educational exchanges, highlighted by the recent integration of Steve, a young Congolese professional basketball player, into Minakami’s only high school. Steve’s presence has brought a fresh perspective to the community, showcasing Congolese athletes' impressive talent and potential.

Building Bridges Through Basketball

Inspired by Steve's success, the local community and Minakami City’s men’s basketball team have expressed enthusiasm for strengthening ties with Congolese youth, particularly through high school sports programs. This initiative aims to establish exchange programs that will allow Congolese students to experience Minakami’s educational environment while training in basketball. Such a partnership is poised to provide new avenues for skill development and personal growth, benefiting students from both countries.

To endorse this partnership, Freddy Kankolongo Cisuaka, President Representative of TRAPIDE Co., Ltd., and the Minister Counselor from the Congolese Embassy, addressed attendees at the Lifelong Learning Festival.
